New comments cannot be posted. Fire Emblem Awakening works very well in Citra. Graphically, the game looks great when not in areas afflicted by missing geometry shaders; however, when in those areas (usually in-battle), major graphical issues occur, such as Chrom having blonde hair, Olivia a black dancer’s outfit, or dressing dark knights as tricksters.
Since Fire Emblem Heroes was specifically designed for mobile devices, don’t hold your breath for an official PC or Mac version. However, you can play Fire Emblem Heroes on your computer by using the program Bluestacks, an Android emulator for PC and Mac.
Fire Emblem Awakening works very well in Citra. Cutscenes now run at full speed on sufficient hardware in recent Citra versions.
But most Fire Emblem games don’t require you to play previous games to understand the story, although you could play Shadow Dragon, Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light, and/or Mystery of the Emblem to understand Awakening better (believe me, I started with Awakening when I first played FE ).
I play on Citra almost exclusively for Fates, so I can say with confidence that Fates runs very well now compared to how it did a year or two ago. Citra’s been handling all of these games very well lately, it makes me ridiculously happy when I’m testing my Fates Randomizer ROMs, haha.

I think FE6 is definitely worth you playing. The characters can be fairly hit or miss (and without supports many are completely forgettable), but the hits are really out of the park. When you dig deeper into characters like Astore and Igrene they are truly some of the best in the series.
Fire Emblem Heroes runs on these emulators: BlueStacks, NoxPlayer, MEmu and LDPlayer. BlueStacks and NoxPlayer require no extra steps, but they are the most demanding emulators. Not recommended for low-end PC users. LDPlayer requires no extra steps either, but it works better on low-spec machines.
Be sure to marry Chrom until chapter 11, he has five possible brides: female Robin, Sully, Sumia, Maribelle and Olivia. Other than that you can marry anyone with almost anyone else at any point of the plot. The game is funnier if most characters are married but it’s not mandatory.
Citra is open-source, anyone can inspect the code themselves to verify it isn’t a virus. You only risk getting a virus by installing third party builds with unpublished source code, or by downloading ROMs from shady sites (something not condoned by this sub).
The daughter of Chrom and gifted with the mark of Naga, known as the Brand of the Exalt, on her left eye, like in the present timeline, future Lucina was born to Chrom and his wife after the Ylisse-Plegia War. In game, her mother can be either: Sumia, Sully, Robin, Maribelle, Olivia or a nameless Village Maiden.

The dark magic corrupts Robin and causes them to strike Chrom with a lightning bolt, killing him.
THE BEGINNING First, you must decide a starting point. My most recommended is Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword, though Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, and Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon are good options. Then, if applicable, play your starting point’s sequel.
