Requirements:
AWB Editor requires Oracle/Sun Java 6 or newer. The Windows Installer will download and install it for you if you need it. Or you can download it for free from http://www.java.com/getjava.
Running on Linux / Unix / Other
The way and location Java is installed in Linux, Unix and other OSs varies quite a lot and so the way to start a Java application may differ. Here is a list of the most common options:
- Double-click on AWBEditor.jar
- Right click on AWBEditor.jar and choose the proper option to run it (generally it says something similar to 'Run as Java Application')
- Execute the file AWBEditor.sh
- Execute java -jar AWBEditor.jar using the full path to the Java executable on the console
Uninstall AWB Editor:
- Windows: The progran includes an uninstaller, you can find it in the Start Menu in the AWB Editor folder or in the Control Panel in Programs and Features
- MacOs: Just drop the appliaction icon into the Trash
- Linux/Zip download: Delete the AWB Editor folder

- Updates: While your license is valid you will receive all available updates, the program will notify you when such updates are available.
