Interestingly after initiating the process via CMD+R, followed by an erase then install MacOS, it reinstalled High Sierra 10.13.6, not that I am bothered but I thought it would have installed whatever version was lying in the recovery partition when I bough the Imac last year. However bottom line is that it is all ok - ready for Mojave.

Presenter Bios:
Philip Johnston, CEO, Trackwise, joined the company in 1999 and acquired the company in 2000. Since then, Trackwise has enjoyed sustained growth and floated on the stock market in 2018. During his tenure, Philip developed and patented Improved Harness Technology™ (IHT), a means of manufacturing length-unlimited multilayer flexible printed circuit boards as a weight-saving replacement for conventional wiring harnesses in electrical interconnect subsystems. He is the named inventor on a number of UK and international patents and he has led several government-supported R&D consortiums including a European CleanSky programme. Philip’s career started at British Aerospace where he did an apprenticeship during his Aeronautical Engineering degree course at Bristol University. He transferred into the BAE Space Department on graduation where his role included a key management position in the Prime Contractor team for Envisat, a large European satellite, managing multi-million ECU work packages involving different companies across Europe. Philip also holds a law degree from the University of London and is a Chartered Engineer.
Jaim Nulman, CTO & EVP Products, Nano Dimension, is a proven influencer and innovator with more than 30 years of expertise in working with companies from startups to Fortune 500 enterprises. He served as Vice President of Applied Materials, where he spent 15 years in several product division and corporate positions. He drove the successful commercialization of one of Applied Materials' semiconductor manufacturing products with impressive market penetration of $1 billion in less than five years.
Janine Sullivan Love has a strong interest in science and technology, was trained as an educator, and began working as a professional writer more than 20 years ago. She currently serves as the editor of Signal Integrity Journal, Technical Program Director for EDI CON, and Exhibition Operations Manager for IMS at Horizon House Publications, Inc. She is also a contributing editor to Microwave Journal.
Pat Hindle is editor at Microwave Journal and responsible for editorial content, article review and special industry reporting for Microwave Journal magazine and its web site in addition to social media and special digital projects. Prior to joining the Journal, Mr. Hindle held various technical and marketing positions throughout New England, including Marketing Communications Manager at M/A-COM (Tyco Electronics), Product/QA Manager at Alpha Industries (Skyworks), Program Manager at Raytheon and Project Manager/Quality Engineer at MIT. Mr. Hindle graduated from Northeastern University - Graduate School of Business Administration and holds a BS degree from Cornell University in Materials Science Engineering.
Gary Lerude serves as Technical Editor of Microwave Journal. Previously, he was at TriQuint Semiconductor, where he held business development, strategic marketing, and product marketing management roles for TriQuint’s infrastructure products. Gary had similar roles at M/A-COM, where he covered both commercial and defense markets. He started his microwave career at Texas Instruments, where he was one of the “midwives” at the birth of GaAs MMIC technology. Gary holds a bachelor’s in EE, master’s in systems engineering, and an engineer’s degree in EE.

Import presentations from PowerPoint and view them on Keynote. This enables you to watch presentations from non-Keynote users without needing to download any external programs. The only downside to this, however, is that Keynote presentations don’t work as well on PowerPoint. While you can still export presentations to PowerPoint, some graphics or animations may not function correctly.

This software is designed by Apple for use with the macOS desktop and the iPad.
Is there a better alternative?
Yes. Keynote is impressive, but there are many alternatives that aren’t exclusive to Apple. Check out Google Presentations or Microsoft PowerPoint for similar tools.
Our take
Keynote is a simple, yet elegant way to create presentations and export them in various file formats. Its exclusivity to Apple products makes it less appealing than its alternatives, however.
Should you download it?
Keynote is already pre-installed on the MacBook, and you should definitely give it a try if you own one. On the iPad however, you’d be better off downloading Google Presentations.
